In the beneficiation process of the mineral processing equipment plant, the floating tail grade is affected by many factors, such as ore properties, processing capacity, grinding fineness, flotation time, etc. The relationship between these three is also a subject of frequent research in the field of flotation. Let's briefly discuss the influence of the latter two factors on the flotation index.
Effect of Grinding Fineness on Flotation process
After increasing the processing capacity, the recovery rate decreased obviously due to the increase of the floating tail grade. It is generally believed that this is due to the reduction of the grinding fineness and insufficient dissociation degree. Theoretical analysis shows that a large part of the gold in the ore of this mine occurs in pyrite particles, and the target product of flotation is mainly pyrite, and the particle size of pyrite is mostly between 0.05 and 0.5mm. Changes in the fineness within a small range will not cause the dissociation degree of the pyrite monomer in the ore, and thus will not lead to an obvious increase in the grade of the floating tail. In order to confirm the correctness of the above speculation, flotation experiments with different particle sizes were carried out in the laboratory. The test conditions are as follows: using single-tank open-circuit flotation, take 3 parallel samples with the same grade, the same quality, the same pulp concentration, and different fineness. rate has little effect. In addition, before and after increasing the amount of processed ore in production, the sweeping HX was observed and analyzed under the microscope, and the proportion of pyrite and gangue mineral joints did not change much, reflecting the impact of the change of grinding fineness on the floating tail grade. The effect of raising is not obvious.
Effect of flotation time on flotation process
In the Foltation Processing Plant, the flotation time is different, and the impact on the grade of flotation tailings is very obvious. When the amount of processed ore increases, the flotation time will be shortened correspondingly, resulting in a decrease in the grade of the floating tail. Therefore, it is very important to grasp the beneficiation time during the beneficiation process.
